For the first time, the french and italian national EPR associations, ARPE and GIRSE, co-organize a theoretical and practical school on Electronic Paramagnetic Resonance, from basics to advanced concepts.
Accomodation and courses will be located in the nice place of Vacanciel center in Carry-le-Rouet. Practical sessions will take place in Aix-Marseille Université and CNRS laboratories in Marseille.

- Covered topics : radicals, metals, relaxation, couplings techniques, instrumentation, pulsed EPR techniques and specific sequences...
- Applications in physics, chemistry and biology : catalysis, photochemistry, materials, structural biology, dynamics…

TRAVEL INFORMATION
The EPR school will be hosted at the Vacanciel center in Carry-le-Rouet, about 30 km north-west of Marseille.
- Coming by plane
The closest airport is Marseille-Provence Airport in the city of Marignane, about 19 km from Carry-Le-Rouet. The best but expensive way to go to Carry-le-Rouet is taxi (50-70€). Taxi can be shared.
There are also buses to Saint-Charles station, the main station of Marseille (bus and train). More information on the Airport website.
- Coming by train
The closest main station is Saint-Charles station, in Marseille (bus and train). A local train (line 7 Marseille->Miramas) serves Carry-le-Rouet station. You can search for a train from Marseille to Carry-le-Rouet.
Carry-le-Rouet station is 3.5km far from the Vacanciel center. A shuttle (Carry-le-Rouet station - Vacanciel center) is available but subject to reservation from the organizers.
- Caution
Strikes are going on in France. Please check your travel information with the flight/train companies to make sure that your flight/train is not cancelled.
FEE and REGISTRATION
The fee includes accomodation and all meals from Sunday evening to Thursday noon.

- Industrial : 1300€
The registration is free of charge for a limited number of CNRS employees.
Due to a limited number of available places, only the first registered may attend this school.

Payment by french cheque or bank transfer are possible.
The student/post-doc rate is limited to PhD students and post-docs less than 5 years (thesis defence after 01/01/2013). Please send a proof to Dr. Marlène Martinho (copy of student card, letter of the lab director,...).
A limited number of single rooms is available with an extra cost of 100€. This extra cost has to be paid on site (cash or french cheque, no credit card).
